We have invested a lot into upgrading the property and we are so pleased you noticed those improvements. Stay here if you must but don't expect to sleep on this bed and move fast thru the lobby. My normal review covers pool, gym and eateries but we never got that far. People in the lobby with cases of water, large shopping bags of food, and in one case we road the elevator with the equivalent of the 'shopping cart', a dog on a rope, and as much groceries as could be carried by one person. This got to the point we were extremely uncomfortable about our safety. Second what is with the 'hotel' as it appears the hotel is renting long term to street people. STOP: what happened to the bed? I dare anyone to get a good nights sleep on this fold in 1/2 monster. The towels were nice and fluffy, and not a smell in the room, hall or the bathroom.
The amenities are what you would expect of a high-end hotel, shampoo and conditioner, iron and ironing board, safe, and a decent view of the strip. Loved the two sinks, one in the bathroom and outside the bathroom.
Entering the property you notice the nice new landscaping and beautiful flowers, the lobby is beautiful and would be at home in a $400/night hotel anywhere in the world. The Palace Station Hotel just underwent a massive 192 million dollar upgrade.
